"I have been exposed to the field of engineering for over ten years. My engineering exposure has over the years gained me adequate experience in the field of mechanical engineering design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, maintenance as well as managing various projects from concept to implementation phase. I’m currently a registered professional mechanical engineer with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa). I also completed my post graduate degree in engineering management (M. Eng (Engineering Management)) at the university of Johannesburg. Currently studying B.Eng (Hons)(Metallurgy: Welding) at the University of Pretoria."

ENGINEERING EXPOSURE INCLUDES

Sabata has worked with various engineering disciplines including civil, electrical, mechanical etc. in the design and development of various products that are both fit for purpose and have been utilized extensively and reliably well to ensure maximum beneficiation to client satisfaction. Amongst others, these include (in collaboration with other disciplines) the design of storm water culverts, preparation of ground work, pipe work design and layouts etc.

• Managing high levels of risks within projects with regard to engineering processes, systems, equipment and infrastructure.
• Meet contractual obligations and applicable health and safety legislation.
• Performing all activities relating to concept, pre-feasibility and turnkey mechanical projects.
• Ensuring that customer requirements are being carried out on time and in a professional manner.
• Developing products that are both fit for purpose, cost effective and competitive in the market place.
• Supply technical assistance where necessary in support of marketing and services department.
• Feasibility studies for various projects as well as micro managing various projects.
• Ensuring that products are designed within the framework of contractual obligations and statutory health and safety requirements.
• Continual personal development of general engineering principles and methods of application to improve competency in design.
• To ensure that design and documentation standards are in accordance with the requirements specified by the ISO 9001 system.
• Ensuring that customers can operate and maintain their products effectively through the supply of clear, concise Operators/Maintenance and instructions manuals, sub assembly drawings and parts lists. Providing after sales technical advice where necessary.
• Manage and lead projects while continuously interacting with clients.
• Outlining the effective use of available resources to ensure maximum utilization and improving production output.
• Ensure successful handover to client satisfaction.
